This was the week I had several interviews and job applications to submit, so I admit not much reading for this course got done in this week!!
Reflections – our students must have similar distractions and concerns during their studies, especially given the fees, loans etc. I know one of my student Librarians was doing 3 jobs – one as a bartender until 3am some weekends – to earn money. I empathise with them.
I’ve found it incredibly hard to focus on this course since being made redundant. Logically finding another job is the priority, but I’m also aware that this course will help with my career going forward.
